Charleston Autism Academy

• Each child's programming will be initially based on the ABLLS assessment or developmentally appropriate testing
• Year round therapeutic program available.
• Programming needs of students are provided directly by Academy staff
• Academy staff educated and experienced in modern teaching techniques for Autism
• Speech and occupational needs are provided by experienced professionals
• Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) - in the form of verbal behavior - is a key component in each child's individual program
• Opportunities for interaction with typically developing peers. 
• Field trips include horseback riding, swimming, recreational parks, playgrounds, museums, zoos, fairs, music and art experiences, stores, libraries, farms, ball games, beach trips, and restaurants.
